Pixie in her pink cage

I gave the hamsters a little bit of basil last night. The dwarves weren't too convinced, but Pixie loved it! She looks so big now that I'm more used to dwarf hamsters but used to look so tiny when I had bunnies, haha.

I love the white on her feet - it looks like she's wearing gloves ❤ Too precious!

Pink cage theme

Here is an update about Pixie! She has grown a lot this summer! Her color has become very orange and she has almost outgrown her wheel (I have got to buy a new one). Right now she has a super cute candy princess cage setup, while the sisters have a natural theme.

Pixie has grown...

It's been 2 weeks already! Pixie is 6 weeks old and has gotten pretty big :) I took a few photos of her in her new "kitten" sand bath (which looks more like a pink hamster to me). She really seems to love it! Here she is, my little princess:

Pink hamster setup

I am buying all the last things I need for Pixie's cage, and I'm mostly having a natural theme (lots of wooden houses, tunnels, etc.), but I'm also going to have a pink theme sometimes. I love pink, and since Pixie's full name is Pixie Princess, she deserves some pink in her life. Here are a few pink hamster things on my wish list:

Some of these things are not for syrians, but are more suitable for dwarf hamsters, but I wish they would come in the right size... I have bought the pink hamster shaped house (just waiting for it to arrive), and I'm going to buy the hamster gym as well as the gnawing kabob. I am also thinking about making my own pink "care fresh", but more about that later. :)
